What’s your workout?
In a way, I admire him for finding the energy and for making the time to continue exercising despite school, work, family, and commute. Then again, I’m not sure whether the workout is just outright overexcessive – if he desires to be healthy, it sounds like he has overstrained his body (surgeries, etc) …
I suppose if you have the passion and you think it keeps you sane, then it’s worth it. But the time-cost and injury-cost seem pretty high to me (even as someone who understands dancers and their pointe injuries), and I wonder whether he’d be healthier – and happier – sticking to a normal marathon.
